AuDHD Work Tips: Admin Tasks
A couple of ideas on ways to make your work more manageable through different resources.
I offer a limited number of client spots for individual coaching on a sliding scale or trade basis.
This is an expression of my desire for justice and accessibility. I’ve relied on others being flexible with their pricing when I was un- and underemployed, and am thrilled that I can now pay it forward.
Setting up an individualized sliding scale or trade agreement with me involves no bargaining, no documentation of need, and no shame. If you’re really ready to do the deep work that will lead to making some hard changes in your life, and finances are the only thing holding you back, that’s what this is for!
Here’s what to do:
In more than four years of doing this, I’ve seen some pretty consistent patterns.
Many people have great intentions, but don’t end up doing even the things that they want to and intend to do, to make things better.
And while the eternal optimist in me wants to always give everyone the benefit of the doubt and hope that every single person who expresses intentions is going to follow through, the sad reality is, that’s not the case.
But I’m not great at being able to tell who is ready and who isn’t, and I don’t want to play God and decide who is deserving (I don’t think it’s about deserving anyway) or to guess at what’s going on inside people.
Which is why I put out a lot of info, in text and video, for you to figure out for yourself if this is right for you, right now.
If you’re at a point in your Journey where you are completely ready to take full advantage of coaching, and do the things that it takes to make your life better, and it’s literally just a lack of money that’s in your way, I’m happy to offer my services at a reduced rate or in trade.
Here’s how to take advantage of that.
Read the entire page about Later Discovery Autism Coaching. Yes, please do read the whole thing. I know it’s long. You can get your screen reader to read it to you. And there are videos for parts.
This will give you the best idea of whether this is a fit for you or not. I put a lot of effort into stating as clearly as possible what I provide and what I don’t, and who it’s a good fit for and who it’s not.
If you’re in burnout and it’s too much to read, then maybe that’s an answer. Coaching is going to involve even more effort. If it’s not a good fit right now, take a look at my course on autistic burnout recovery instead.
If you read the whole thing and are still interested:
Fill out this short form to express your interest in a sliding scale.
Or fill out this short form to express your interest in trading for work.
This is as much for you as it is for me, to figure out if this is right for you, right now.
After you submit the interest form, I’ll email you within one to three business days. If I think we might be a fit, I’ll invite you to schedule a clarity call.
After our first clarity session, if you still want to work with me, I will offer you three coaching sessions to start with, at a reduced rate. That way there’s no long term commitment.
If those go well and you’re using them to make actual changes in your life that are making things better, and we both want to continue, great, we can keep going.
I’m open to trading coaching for work if your skills match my needs.
Here is some of what I’m interested in trading for right now:
