What I Know About Rest
I’m not great at resting, but I’ve learned a lot and have gotten a lot better at it over the last few years. Here’s my observations of what resting is.
Helping you help others.
You’re already doing great work, and I want to support you to be even more effective by providing an insider’s perspective on what’s going on.
If you’ve ever scratched your head, at a loss for how to help, or even how to understand what kind of help would be helpful.
If you’re frequently wondering:
You don’t have to figure this out alone. There are reasons, though they may not be obvious to someone who isn’t autistic.
That’s where I come in. I can help you look at what’s going on in a new way, and suggest things you can do to be more effective and have a greater impact in the work you love.
And if you’re doing research on autistic experiences and would like to pick my brain, you can ask me about my perspective, work, autism, burnout, etc. and I’ll give you as much as I can in an hour (which is a lot).

I want to talk a bit about the difference between accepting what is and resigning oneself to what is.
